In collaboration with Dueruote, AED is launching the first Master Diploma Course in the Restoration of Classic Motorcycles, a unique course for all enthusiasts eager to learn the secrets, practices and tools of a fascinating and valued profession.

Drawing on the participation of leading experts in the sector, it is spread over six full-on days of theory lessons and practical workshops in the Dueruote Garage with vertical full-immersion teaching for a total of 50 hours spread over two weekends.

Those attending the Master Diploma Course will be split into work groups covering all the steps in a comprehensive restoration project.

During the course, it will explore consultation and research in historic archives while workdays in the Dueruote Garage will revolve around 4 principal macro-themes:
1. Mechanics: engine, carburettor and electrics;
2. Motorcycling: suspensions, chassis, wheels; panel-beating applied to restoration;
3. Caring for bodywork and paint: recovering the original paint, ex-novo painting, chromium plating and anodising;
4. Upholstery: leather refurbishment and treatment.
