The Master Diploma in Vintage Car Restoration returns following the success of its first edition.

Organised by AED with Ruoteclassiche, it is a professional training course lasting 3 weeks with classroom lessons and practical sessions in the Quattroruote repair shop.

The course offers all participants a unique opportunity to benefit from the experience of expert professionals and partners. The lecturers are carefully chosen and pass on the techniques and tools of a highly valued profession in the world of vintage cars, motoring and restoration of vintage cars to the young students.

For the third Edition of the Master Diploma AED gives the opportunity to attend the course also for all the passionates of the vintage car sector. Some students under the age of 22, will be able to take advantage of a free scholarship, allowing them to attend the course without paying.

Young people today have difficulty finding steady and skilled employment and automobile artisans have a great deal of precious expertise to pass on.  Ruoteclassiche, expert professionals and partners are the ideal teachers for young students and enthusiasts of the sector who can access a high-level training course for the restoration of classic cars.

This is highly specialised training school with the admirable aim introducing the participants to the Master in to the vintage car world, handing down Italy’s historical culture and, most importantly, the secrets of the vintage-car restoration trade, with special focus on resolving the practical and technical problems that are key to acquiring expert experience.

The Master diploma in Vintage Car Restoration is a free post-diploma course training professionals in the restoration of vintage cars, a new direction for those passionate about the vintage motoring world and benefiting the new generations.

This course is for a maximum of 25 people not only young students, but also passionate of the classic car restoration sector. All those selected under the age of 22 will receive a scholarship allowing them to attend the Master course without paying.

The course requires attendance 5 days a week with an average commitment of seven hours a day, for a total of 15 days of classroom and track lessons in July 2018.

Thanks to the expertise built up by Ruoteclassiche and Quattroruote, the teaching staff will consist in Quattroruote and Ruoteclassiche journalists as well as highly valued professionals in the vintage-car restoration world. Frequent input by high-profile players will supplement the course with national and international experiences aimed at increasing the students’ cultural knowledge

The course features a pragmatic teaching method, alternating classroom lessons at which to learn from and engage directly with top professionals in the sector with practical lessons in the repair shop where students, accompanied by Quattroruote test drivers, can discover the secrets and gain hands-on experience of all aspects of the automobile.

All the students of the Master will be given private credentials to access the personal area reserved for them; in this way they can easily take advantage of all the teaching material provided during the lessons; the material is for personal use only and can not be disseminated by any means as per a signed commitment. They will also receive a digital subscription for one year to the magazine Ruoteclassiche.

Students can use their own electronic media and the company’s Internet connection in the classroom.

At the end of the course, every student who has attended at least 80% of the lessons and passed the regular tests will receive a Master Diploma.
